Voluntary Association for Rural Development of Bangladesh (VARD of Bangladesh) is a non-profit, non-political, non-government national voluntary and holistic developmental humanitarian organization serving the needy and most vulnerable especially focusing on children, Women, youths and families in rural communities of Bangladesh. Being inspired by the Holy Scripture VARD of Bangladesh aims to transform the lives of the distressed people and to end all sorts of poverty all over the country. VARD of Bangladesh also attempts to identify the root cause of poverty and solve the problems that hinders the development by focusing on the needs such as water, sanitation, education, skill development training, self-help program, health, advocacy, eradicating child labor, support to disable children education, child protection program, leadership training and income generation activities.
